Uncovering blind-spots

A blind-spot is when a person's view is obstructed. 

A couple of things to note here:

• You've got to know when your view is, in fact, obstructed

• There needs to be a compelling enough reason to remove it

• Once removed, take steps to ensure it doesn't happen again unbeknownst to you

So, how do you figure out your blind-spots? And what do you stand to gain in doing so?
