Lenz is known for his ability to connect dots across different areas, manage complexity, and offer flexibility. In doing so, he's able to solve complex problems and uncover hidden opportunities. Being multilingual and multicultural, Lenz has experience conducting research & ethnographic fieldwork in both domestic and international contexts.
Using his broad skillset, Lenz is able to adapt to evolving challenges, opportunities, and needs. As a connector and integrator, he's able to bridge gaps between departments, functions, and disciplines in a strategic manner. By employing multidisciplinary approaches, he's able to draw connections others might miss, tackling problems and pursuing opportunities from a holistic perspective.
Lenz's industry experience includes international development planning, financial services, anti-money laundering, the public sector, primary & secondary education (K-12), and higher education.
His research contributions range from exploring issues of community-led development & resource distribution in the Global South to strengthening organizational support for underrepresented graduate students in STEM fields.
